LOCATION
Powder Creek Lodge is located in a scenic basin in the Purcell Mountains of Southern British Columbia, Canada.  The lodge is located at the top end of Powder Creek drainage at an elevation of 2100 metres (7000 feet), approximately 18 kilometres (11 miles) east of the town of Kaslo. The lodge site was chosen because of the sunny exposure, incredible views, and the excellent skiing opportunities it offers.  This is also one of few select areas where guests can experience pristine solitude undisturbed by helicopter skiers, snowmobilers, or any other mechanized vehicles.

The area has several spectacular jagged peaks over 2700 metres (9000 feet) elevation including Mt. Baldr with its ice covered north face. It also offers breathtaking views of Hall Peak and the jagged fangs of The Leaning Towers in the Purcell Wilderness Conservancy, the glittering remnants of glacial ice on the North Face, and several small jewel-hued lakes.

ACCESS
The lodge is accessed via a scenic 11-minute helicopter flight across Kootenay Lake from the town of Kaslo.
