THE LODGE Powder Creek Lodge is a roomy 2 1/2 story wood frame
building nestled in a picturesque alpine basin overlooking Lise Nicola Lake and Powder Creek Valley. This new, beautifully-built, spacious lodge has pine paneling, exposed beams, and bright colours throughout. It is
heated with a combination of propane and wood, and lighted with electricity generated onsite.
Guests will find the bright, roomy kitchen is fully outfitted with
everything they need to prepare and serve meals.
The unique, large octagonal dining table allows everyone
to sit together comfortably, and contains a rotating section in the centre to make serving easy.
The comfortable living room contains a large custom-built
sectional couch, a glass-doored wood heater, a library, and many board games. A slide projector is also available upon request.

Each of the six 2-3 person private bedrooms comes with
twin-sized beds which can be easily joined to accommodate couples. Comfortable foam mattresses, pillows, fluffy duvets, and bedding are also provided.
The lodge also has a sun deck offering a panoramic view of the
valley, peaks, and surrounding ridges. A large propane barbecue on the deck entices guests to stretch the outside cooking season.
THE BATHHOUSE The bathhouse is a separate building located a short distance from the lodge. This cozy building contains a
heated/lighted change room, a roomy sauna, and a shower stall. The shower stall is outfitted with an effective
bucket-and-pulley style shower similar to a portable solar shower system. At the end of a long day of skiing guests
can luxuriate in the heat of the sauna or rinse off in the shower stall. The more adventurous can jump in the snow for a refreshing cool-down!
AMENITIES The lodge and bathhouse are lighted throughout with ecologically friendly electricity generated by a small local
hydroelectric system. There are many outlets provided throughout both buildings so that guests can use small appliances or charge batteries.
The lodge and bathhouse are both outfitted with inside 'liquids only' toilets. An outhouse located a short distance
from the lodge and bathhouse contains propane incinerating toilets.
The water supply for the lodge and bathhouse is a nearby stream. Cold running water is provided at the kitchen sink
via a gravity feed system. Other sinks have water storage containers provided and filtered water is supplied for
drinking. Water for bathing and washing is heated in large stovetop containers and dipped out as required..
